About the Project

Unified Building Group worked with the School District of Indian River County to expedite reconstruction of a campus that had been destroyed by hurricanes Frances and Jeanne. Recognizing that students requiring alternative education services cannot adequately be served by redistribution to other schools, the school District called upon UBG to help reduce construction time. Due to the urgent nature of the project, UBG worked under a stringent project budget and schedule.


Using a concrete modular building system, Unified Building Group provided a 2-story open corridor wing addition with concrete covered walkways, elevator and stair modules.  RCC also constructed an administrative building and a cafeteria using a precast wall system.
